Advanced Terrain Reading: Identifying Danger Zones

The mountain procedurally stitches together several high-risk terrain types: snowrider

The Rolling Giant Snowballs

Unlike static pine trees and jagged rocks, giant snowballs roll downhill across the path.

  • The Counter-Move: Never try to cut across a rolling snowball's trajectory. Instead, maneuver behind its path of travel where the lane is already cleared.

The Valley Gaps and Deep Chasms

Wide bottomless ravines require decisive jumps.

  • Timing the Leap: Hitting the jump key too early causes you to clip the far lip of the trench. Wait until the sled is near the brink of the cliff to get maximum forward arc and safe ground clearance.

Dense Pine Thickets

Clustered pine trees leave only narrow, single-sled pathways.

  • Micro-Adjustments: Avoid holding directional keys down. Use rapid, micro-taps on the keyboard to thread through narrow gaps without triggering an uncontrolled drift.
